Taylor Swift to Re-Record Even Earlier Records

Following the successful re-recording of two of her early albums, the artist plans to dig deeper into her catalogue and re-record Pure Fuckery, an album recorded when she was 11. 

“Pure Fuckery was recorded in a blur, during a tumultuous time for me,” said Swift. 

The lyrics focus on her rejection by the Nashville music establishment at age 11. 

“My tapes were rejected by multiple labels when I was 11,” she said, "so I wrote these songs after my mom and I got back from Nashville." The result was songs including “Nashville is Pure Fuckery” and “The Music Business is Pure Fuckery,” recorded in her bedroom studio. 

Swift hopes to re-record the songs in a country-pop vein, while maintaining the song titles, which also include the tunes “Karaoke Country Girl,” “Dolly’s Dreams,” and “McDonald’s is Pure Fuckery.” 

After this project is released, Swift will reach deeper into her catalogue and re-record her early deathgrind album, Christian Puke, recorded when she was 9. 

“Wow. That’s going to be a challenge,” Swift said.

“Blue Origin: The Movie” to stream exclusively on Amazon

Blue Origin: The Movie , the documentary about the creation and launch of Blue Origin’s first crewed mission to space, will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos will act as director, executive producer, and star.  The film traces Bezos’ interest in space travel from a young age, when, as a high school senior, he proposed a park that would orbit the Earth, populated with people.
